The woman who loves words...

I am a word nerd. I love words and like to pin them onto paper (or screen). I write fiction, plays, articles and enjoy blogging. A lot of my writing is inspired by nature - walking, being in nature, and the changes of the seasons. Although I live in Greater Manchester, I am constantly dazzled by pockets of wildlife in the most urban places. I worry a lot about climate change and write poetry that explores this.

I’ve performed at: London Vegan Festival (2008); West Midlands Vegan Festival (2008); Hammer & Tongue (slam finalist 2008); Manchester Comedy Festival (2008); Poetry for Pride (2009); Little Green (2010); Tales of Whatever (2012); Oxfam North England (2012); Loose Muse (2014 & 2015) and at Stirred Poetry.

If you’re quick, you might spot me in Manchester either on a microphone or possibly hosting an event…

I perform with the Didsbury Players Amateur Dramatic Society.
